CL Corporate Affairs is driven by a steadfast commitment to safeguarding corporate reputations and empowering businesses to navigate the complexities of challenging political landscapes. With a deep expertise in European law and policy, international relations, and French politics, CL Corporate Affairs brings specialized expertise in leveraging public affairs strategies with a focus on sensitive sectors such as oil and gas, tobacco products, and also help them manage crisis communications.
Founded by César Lesage in 2022, the firm also supports public and private organizations in expanding their activities and visibility, managing relationships with regional, national or local institutions, and representing them before key stakeholders—political, administrative, and social actors, as well as interprofessional organizations—in France, Italy, and at the European institutional level. Additionally, CL Corporate Affairs identifies relevant and potential industrial and financial partners through the activation of institutional and governmental networks.
César Lesage boasts over 7 years of robust experience in public affairs and corporate communication, having worked with mid-sized companies, multinational corporations, and state-owned enterprises. He has also lectured at the Catholic University of Paris on the dynamics of European institutions and continues to offer tailored training for corporate executives on navigating the Brussels ecosystem—a critical skill given that 80% of European legislation, which influences legal systems globally, particularly in regulatory standards, originates there.
He is also deeply engaged in EU-CIS relations, having collaborated with a major oil and gas group in the region, further solidifying a unique perspective on the intersection of geopolitics and corporate strategy.
